This would instantly turn me off on a school if I was a recruit. I'm not sure how he thinks this is beneficial, I wouldn't be looking for a sleepover buddy.

The liability for the University has got to be huge. All it takes is one guy getting pissed off, or pissed on *rimshot*, to come out and say something and Michigan is left holding the bag. Even if its a complete bullshite lie it will still do more damage than they stand to gain by him doing this.

I mean I guess it's a little weird. But if you had the pressure of being Big Blue's coach and answering to those boosters, you'd probably do anything you could to get the players you need and avoid the shame of being cast out in the early going. I say props to his effort.
