Hey man, you can say magic and fairies all you want. Truth is, God chooses his family, and maybe you're not worthy. Yiu have too much doubt to be sure of anything on that level of spirituality. I know this because of how you speak. You don't have a spiritual bone in your body, and thats fine, just don't criticize those of us that do by saying we believe in fairytales and such. You don't know what anyone has been through in their life and don't know anything about them. Those who seek God will find him. Those who disrespect him and make a mockery of him like he's a "fairytale" will never know him. I feel sorry for you. I hope one day you will humble yourself and go through something that forces you to cry out to your creator and ask for him into your life like i have. Then, and only then, will you learn the truth. I hope that happens for you I really do.

I remember how no media ever said anything negative about Coach Fran until AFTER he left bammer and then "all the sudden" all kinds of stories about him being an arrogant jerk began to surface.

All of those stories proved correct.

Given that we know Freeze lied and cheated and we don't know these girls have done either...yeah I tend to believe them over Freeze.

That's a great post and all but there are several problems with it.

One. I never said anything about god (a creator/creators). I do believe that a creator or creators is well within the realm of possibility. What I said was, that humans could never comprehend a being that advanced over them enough to know what that being wants or expects of us. I also pointed out that this creator didn't just create humans as the dominant and ultimate creation in the universe when this universe is (highly likely) filled with far older and far mor intelligent species than humans. My issue is with belief in religion, not with the belief in a creator. Religion is man made and has nothing to do with the creator (if there is one). It's obvious because all religious texts reflect the level of understanding of the universe of the people who wrote it.

Take the Bible for instance. It's supposed to be a guide for humans to make their lives better and more complete both physically and spiritually. So why is it that it mentions nothing of sanitation and sterilization techniques? You would think that if god helped write this book to guide us on earth, he might would of wanted to mention "hey, sometimes water has parasites and bacteria in it that can make you really ill or kill you. Might want to boil it before drinking it". No, there is no mention of things like this. Why? Because the humans who wrote it didn't know about these things at the time. No, instead, they were using cow urine as an antiseptic.

Second issue: You stated that I don't know what someone has gone through in their life that god helped them out of. Ok? Let's go down this road. So the Christian god helped someone through a bad time in their life. You realize that every religion can make that same claim right? So which god is the right god? I guarantee that there are millions of Muslims who feel the same as you. That their god helped them through a tough situation. Does that mean Muslims are right and we should all be Muslim? I could find the same cases amongst Scientologist, Buddhist, Hindu, Shinto, Zoroastrianists, neo-pagans...... Are ALL of these gods out there?

If there is a creator. He sucks at his job

What is the point of creating a world of racism, wars, murders, pedophiles, rapes, human trafficking, slaves, terrorism, kids with cancer, ole miss football and on and on

Well hell yeah there's a creator. All of this didn't just come about. The key is who is the creator, and do you know him?

Then who created the creator? If we can't come from nothing (even though it has been proven mathematically that we can) then niether can the creator.

I know you are going to answer with the same old "he's god he doesn't need a creator" narrative but that's not really an answer is it? You can't simply state that "someone had to create the universe" as if it is fact. You don't know that. There is no way for you to know that. It's possible that the universe does have a creator. But it's also JUST AS POSSIBLE that it doesn't.

The simplest (and only correct answer) is that we just don't know if there is or isn't a creator and if that goes over your head then I'm sorry.

This was always one of my biggest problems with religion. It's only explanation for this was "god is testing you". For what? What kind of being creates life just to put it through trials of suffering and still demand worship and adoration? That's what a narcissistic psychopath would do not a benevolent loving "parent".

Arguing with religious fanatics is a huge waste of time. It doesn't matter if you come back with millions of facts they will always counter with something that is based on faith. They also get their facts/beliefs from a book that has a ton of make believe stories in it like Adam and Eve and Noahs ark.

I know. I just can't stand ignorance. And by "ignorance" I'm not saying they are stupid, just that they are not educated in the things that would allow them to understand the universe enough to know that the creation of this universe isn't as simple as "god did it".

Two Jackson softball coaches - husband and wife - are still serving time in jail for having sex with a 15 year old player on the school softball team.
