Dont worry the feeling will pass after the SEC Champioship Game.

The season will feel more like man we played pretty good in the East but that really didnt prepare us for Western opponents.

I think if georgia beats bama. The east is better than the west this year. Florida beat lsu and texas a and m.

i don't give a shite if it's murrya's fault or not. i gamble for a living on horses. I am extremely ood at braking down relevant stats and statistics and tossing irrelevant stats and statistics and basing an informed decision on what i deem relevant

the only thing that is relevant in this scenario is that Murray + Bobo + Richt are 1 and 7 in the last 3 years against good teams. with the one game won coming in a dump with the other team turning the ball over 6 times.

I am not going to bet beucase i dont' bet sports i bet horses. But if i did, I would unload on bama to cover. no way they don't.

If UF gets a pass for that, how come Murray doens't get a pass for his interceptions that game?

We fricking FORCED those turnovers. Jarvis made Jordan Reed fumble, it's not like he just dropped the ball on his own. We forced pressure that caused interceptions, we forced fumbles, etc. Those 6 turnovers are a direct result of our excellent defense.

If anything, we should be praised that UF had 6 turnovers that game. Instead, idiots want to go the other direction and wave it off, saying the only reason we won was just because they had those turnovers. Well, no shite. And the only reason we didn't win by 3 touchdowns was because of our turnovers too.

strawman arguments dont' work wtih me i don't take the bait

Richt has only beaten saban 2 times in his career; once in 2003 and another time in sabans first year at Bama, and that took overtime, and that team wasn't very good. Richt has never beaten saban when Saban is favored to win.

the avg score in the wins is 31 to 17 '

this also includes the infamous blackout game in 09 which georgia came in the top ranked team in the country (and got skull fricked)

Saban actually beat Richt both times in 2003. 17-10 in Death Valley and 34-13 in the Dome.

Richts win came the next year against LSU in Athens. Want to say it was 41-14

2007 - Tuscaloosa, Bama was bad and we needed overtime to beat them 27-25.

2008 - Saban wisely used the blackout as motivation for his team. 41-30 in Athens.

Saban is clearly a better motivator and pays meticulous attention to detail...Bama wins this game 7 times out of 10. I am just not convinced that the actual matchup favors either team blowing the other out.

How would you compare getting an arse beating by South Carolina to the 1980 season?

I will say they have been playing quite well since then.

Where should I start? Well for one, we didnt' beat LSU in 2003. Moving on..you kinda made a point for me in that we haven't won when saban has been favored. It's like in 2008 when these bama idiots want to say "yall lost because yall work black jerseys! lolololol" No, we lost because alabama was a much, much better football team.

October 2003, the teams were pretty evenly matched and we played in BR. It was 10-10 with under 2 minutes left. That's pretty damn close. In the 2003 SECCG we were just totally outmatched. In 2004 in Athens we beat the dogshit out of them. In 2007 we won in Tuscaloosa. In 2008 we lost in Athens. So basically, 2 of Saban's 3 wins against Richt have been when he had the "best" team in the country that won the national title. And the 3rd win was when they started 12-0 and we lost 3 games.

So basically, I say that so say this...have we really seen a Richt/Saban matchup when both teams are relatively equal?

-03 regular season, yes
-03 SECCG, no
-04 no
-07 no
-08 no

There's only been one game in this matchup where both teams were pretty even, and it came down to the last minute, in Baton Rouge. This will only be the 2nd time that both teams are coming in relatively evenly matched.

Holy shite.

-It was 2008, not 2009
-We weren't ranked #1, we were about 3rd and Bama was like 12th. it's not like they were unranked
-We lost by 11.
