you can't follow what people are saying can you. This team has problems, most notably the offensive line which lacked depth and has been hit with injuries including our center who is likely the second best OL we have. It doesn't seem to be entitlement, outside of perhaps a player or two, we just aren't as talented as you would like to believe. Amazing skill players are great, but without a good offensive line that doesn't amount to much. Defense has been improving, however we are a little slow at LB compared to our standards the last few years. DB's still prone to coverage lapses, but they are young and hopefully will continue to improve from week to week.

It isn't heart or entitlement.

I wouldn't agree Ole Miss is better. We outgained them by 70 yards and were throwing a pass into their end zone to win the game at the end.

They deserved to win don't get me wrong. But it took a Super Bowl everything on the line effort out of them at home to get it done, and a great play at the end to hang on. Don't lie and tell me they were not sweating that last drive out.

The West race is still wide open. No one is getting out without a loss and let's see how it ends up.

Don't forget the 7 point facemask scoop and score. Ole miss was better. They may only need 10 points to beat LSU this year

No doubt. Everything we want is still ahead of us but this team is going to have to pull itself up by the bootstrap and do it the hard way. We can't win on talent alone with this group this year. Here is hoping they do.

Yep.....
When you think there's no more work to be done
Your greatness is enough
It's everyone's else fault
Your best is always good enough

That's a great sign......
You've got settlers that think they're already it
Plus, got just enough doers all up in the place

Ole Miss is better. The O output is not an indicator of being better or worse. It tells me we gave them the ball with a short field multiple times.

Nothing is wrong with this team. We have only lost our last 3 ranked games in a row. The dynasty lives on. Move over aTm and fear the process.

Oh and what a valiant effort to win by 1 point against a great Arkansas team. They have lost their last 13 or so SEC games in a row but they are so close to turning the corner. Hey Razorbacks! We just beat the hell outta you!

Holy shite.

A serious question, not a slam. I've read several comments here, from bama fans, stating that "we just aren't as talented ....". Correct me if I am wrong, but hasn't bama had the #1 recruiting class for at least the last 4 yrs if not longer; in the top 5 a majority of the time? That would seem to imply that the players are not being developed by the coaching staff if in fact they are that talented. But, as for why bama is seemingly suffering: just check out the Top 10-20 and see how many SEC West teams are ranked. The competition has a lot to do with any team from the West's record.

All it says is recrootin rakins are not the end all be all as they do not take into account the intangibles of the individual that can make his ability on the field either out or under perform his measurable ability.

If recrootin rankins truly mattered, then Ms. State would not be ranked #1 this week in any world other than bizarro world.

You can't coach determination, drive, and toughness, that falls on the individual, the number of stars added next to his name on a website doesn't make a frick in this area.

True but on this particular OL we had a 4 star center who is good and our best Ol is a 5 star freshman left tackle. The others are all 3 stars. Our qb is a converted rb. Most of the 5 star takent is at receiver, rb and on the defensive side of the ball. Our defense looks great and the secondary is getting better every week. Our OL is hot garbage right now. If Blake can not stretch the field against aTm I think we need to start playing Coker and getting the ball down the field. I think we can trust him to make the same throws AJ did his freshman year until the national title game.

I think it has more to do with Blake Sims not being able to handle pressure well on the road. At home he has been lights out.

This, except he hasn't been challenged at home this year. Early, all of his passes were near the line of scrimmage. Florida was simply bad and out-schemed by Kiffin. I personally think Kiffin was a good hire. The bad decision was to stick with Sims. Any one of the backups would be better at this point in the year with six games under their belt.

I'm admittedly biased, but I do think Arkansas is much better than given credit for.

just in the game yesterday:

Back drops a ball as he's scoring...it wasn't knocked out, he dropped it. He's playing because Collins is benched for being late to practice.

Dropped two interceptions that hit a d-back dead in his chest. One prevents a TD two plays later.

Under threw a wide open back who goes for 6 at the end of the game...leading to the final INT.

All self inflicted. All deserved. No excuses. But we are coming on nicely. Still need another year, but what's being put in place will last.

This coach is married to the hot blonde, so hopefully that's taken care off.

Frankly, last night, arkansas was better than Bama in every facet other than the only one that counts. Bama was damn lucky and Nicky knows it. I suspect Lane's days are numbered.

Sore losers suck. Sore winners, swallow.

Hard to say that any of the backups would be better, although that is the historical Bama line

It pains me to see innocent Gumps attacking each other so viciously. It's heartbreaking to witness this civil war.

But feel free to continue if you must...

If we don't win by 50 points he starts one of these classic stupid threads where he questions, the players, coaches and program.

Irony someone so entitled, he can't bare we struggle to win or lose a game... can open his mouth and whine about our players or staff being entitled.[/quote]

I always find these guys who post almost ten times daily for several years kind of funny anyway. When you wonder if they have a life aside from Bama football and this site, you start to see why they get so worked up.
