Moreover, who did RGIII beat last year? He was 2-3 against ranked teams (and two of the losses were by 27 and 35 points).

Going back to 1990, only 11 of the 22 Heisman winners were on teams that beat more than two ranked teams, pretty telling considering the majority of those players were on one-loss or undefeated teams.

The bottom line is that teams who play a ton of ranked teams usually lose to several of them, and players on teams with more than two losses have an exponentially lower chance of winning the Heisman.

According to that Cam Newton kicked his arse and he had to come back to win against Bama to win by one. So based on your facts A&M loses big.

See how stats can be manipulated. One day you will see most stats are fools gold.

What Tebow and Cam have on JFF is size. Size helps with being more durable when taking bone crushing tackles in the SEC

No, "the problem is" that you aggies are trying to shove JM down our throats & he's only played little more than half a season. Losing to the 2 best teams he's played todate. And as for his stats, take out the stats from the game against that Div 2 team & La. Tech & the numbers become definitive. This type of hype is what turned so many SEC fans against Tebow, and I am a big Tebow fan. Let the kid play some more meaningful games & he won't need anyone blowing his horn. All long term SEC fans know what it takes to be called great as we know just how difficult this league is. And playing only 6-7 games in a career is far from proof that he is the next college football god.

Im not sure anyone said that Manziel is overrated. If anything, we're all surprised and impressed by your QB.

I wish we had him.

However, we are surprised and unimpressed by your fans' bitch like attitude now that A&M is doing well for the first time in a decade. Where were your fans before the season?

Bandwagoners.

Stats help people who don't watch every snap of every game see what's going on. Johnny's having the greatest individual offensive season in SEC history. And his team is having just as much success as RG3 '11 or Tebow in '07.

He is a good player. He will start getting the respect that Texas A&M fans are begging for when he wins a big game. If he goes 0-3 against UF, Bama, LSU, then most SEC opinions will remain that he is a merely a good player right now.

I do agree with this. But it seems he's being held to a higher standard than RG3 who had one decent win and a couple blowout losses.
