This article should show that Johnny Manziel is not overrated.

Are people still trying to argue that he's overrated?

He's going to set the SEC total-yardage record as a freshman despite sitting out the fourth quarter in the majority of his starts. Assuming we blow out SHSU and Mizzu, he'll likely played the equivalent of roughly ten full games this year and break the record by over 500 yards by season's end.

So he has amazing numbers but lost to Florida, LSU and will more than likely lose to Bama this weekend. Congrats, you guys are the 2011 Arkansas Razorbacks.....

Johnny Manziel should be the second player to win multiple Heisman trophies, and most of the media knows it. Don't know if he is overrated. If he had Colin Klein's schedule, the trophy would be his.

First year coaching staff and RS freshman going 9-3 in the best conference in the best division in football. I'll take it.

Manziel got his arse chapped by LSU and might by Bama too...... Only good thing for atm is that the Bama DL is only the 2nd best you will see all year you have already seen, and got beat by, the best.

Although I think McCarron is gonna torch you guys so I still think it may not be close.

I am a huge fan of Manziel and I think he has great potential, but I am getting a bit tired of these threads. We need to win a big game before he can be seriously considered.

If we can somehow pull out a miraculous win vs bama, I'll be a believer.

We'll beat SHSU and Mizzu by at least 60 combined points. Pretty safe bet we're going 9-3.

Manziel's numbers will go down next season, but A&M's overall numbers will go up when Brandon Williams and Tra Carson become eligible.

Tebow and cam won national titles. Manziel hasn't even won a big game yet.

I like JFF and think he will do great, while his numbers are amazing. I don't think talent wise he is as good as Cam or Tebow.

Tebow won his in a 9-3 season, and was nothing more than a glorified goal line back when they had won the title the year before.

Eh, State's overrated, but they're still a fairly good team and we beat the crap out of them on the road. We would have shellacked Ol Miss too (we moved the ball with ease), but nobody on our team could hang onto the damn ball.

We're a pretty good team this year, but we're not quite elite. Our players are still getting used to the new schemes, qb's a fish, new conference, our defensive depth is nonexistent...

Problem for you frickers is that almost to a man, every talking head (and most A&M fans) thought we'd go 5-7 to 6-6 this year. Yet we're gonna finish 9-3 in our first year with a puncher's chance at 10-2 (and a great shot at win 10 in the bowl game either way). This is hardly the best Sumlin and the current players can do. We're gonna get much better.

Yeah, well, how many people said before the season that Arkansas and Auburn would suck as bad as they do this year?

Or that Florida would have one loss?

It's not like A&M was the only surprise this year.

But you won't get any respect until you beat one of the Big 6 teams. Auburn doesn't count this year. Even Vandy beat them.

Who did Tebow beat in 2007?

He was 2-4 against teams that finished ranked. Manziel will likely finish 2-3 in such games pending a bowl. Five of Tebow's nine wins that year were against sub-.500 teams and a sixth, FSU, finished 6-6.
