OP screams little brother.

I guess when UT dominated Bama the decade prior to Saban getting there it wasn't a real rivalry either.

Texas leads Oklahoma 60-44 in their series. Guess it's not a rivalry.

Michigan leads Ohio State 58-46, and it used to be way more lopsided than that. Must not be a rivalry.

Most people understand that a historically great college rivalry doesn't take 40 years off.

So you're saying the Iron Bowl isn't a great rivalry?

So based on the other thread (yes this is a response thread) I was looking at the Alabama/Tennessee rivalry. Didn't realize Alabama leads the series by 13 games. Tennessee hasn't beaten them since 2006 - almost 10 years.

Yeah, so before bamas last run the rivalry was within 5 games. That's pretty damn close condidering how many games we've played

I remember when this rivalry used to be huge, but its been a while.
Anyone born after 1980 finds out about the rivalry by having enough of an interest to read about it in sports mags or books, but not from actual experience of any hype or national interest for an actual game.

It simply has no reputation of its own anymore.

Wat?

^This.

Also, do y'all find it a bit odd that tRant has forced us to stick together due to all the shite LSU then everyone else has given our rivalry? It's like we've become a couple of grumpy old men who are frenemies who hate each other but hate everyone else more.

Thanks a lot rant.

Well keep in mind, a lot of people on here don't pay attention to what happened before 2000.

you are the moron, because i never tried to compare anything.

Well, to start with, I didn't call you a moron. I said that anyone trying to make that comparison based on history was. But since you've demonstrated that your reading comprehension skills are so utterly pathetic, I'll go ahead and call you a fricking moron now.
