Defensive line play; mostly the DTs thou. Wisky will test the run defense all game.

What's funny? Y'all could've run away with a lot of games by just punting the ball away for kicking a field goal.

I'm looking for more than 31 points out of our offense...

Last year they were simply shitty. The premise though was that they won't be able to handle South Carolina's O-line because "they're one of the best in the country". If they aren't able to handle it, it won't be because they haven't seen one like it before...it will be because they suck.

The way I read "the premise" was simply that your DLine will be facing one of the better OLines in the country. Is that factual or not?

What your DLine "sees" in practice is not the same as what they are going to face in The Cock Pit on 28 August. Different schemes, different mentalities ... unless you are claiming that your starting OLine is working on your scout team against your DLine preparing them for the type of zone blocking schemes SCAR uses?

Is Sumlin using his starting OLine to run SCAR's scheme in an effort to prepare your DLine for the game?

He has other "major" flaws, but I guess saying "inability to control a game" is broad enough to cover them all.

His playcalling has been suspect (sometimes too stubborn; sometimes too obvious)
He goes fourth down conversions a lot
He substitutes players in key positions often (with mixed results)

I want to see how USC's corners play against a creative offense. I want to see how the DEs fare against aTm's o-line, and I'm exceptionally curious about Thompson. He's shown that he can win a game before, but he's also never had to be "the man." Shaw played much better once Garcia was gone, so I'm curious if Thompson will do the same.

My guess is Spurrier will go heavy on Davis/Wilds/Carson against aTm, and not rely on DT too much.

Not expecting LSU offense to gel until 4th/5th game (just my opinion).

aTm defense

arky running backs

LSU Defense

whether Auburn dominates Arky or not

Alabama - who emerges as QB even if it's not settled until week 2. How secondary responds to WV passing attack.

Auburn - how good is Jeremy Johnson? Malzahn hasn't announced how long marshall will sit, likely determined by how the game is going.

Texas A&m - life after Manziel, defensive improvement.

Georgia- Pruitt effect

LSU - QB battle

South Carolina - the ol ball coach had done plenty of talking, do results follow?

LSU's QB play - We will find out how good AJ or BH will really be.

it will probably take 8 or 9 games to really figure that out with young QBs who are still improving

Vandy's QB choice and the transition to a 3-4 on defense.

This is one of those situations where you don't want to read too much into week 1 performances. Regardless of the starter, he probably won't be asked to do too much in the first game, so making a characterization at that point will almost certainly be premature.

To me, for LSU it's how well the D-Line has progressed. Wisc's O-Line is no joke, so it will provide a good metric as to where we are in stopping the run, which was a weakness at times last year.

A&M's defense faces a better O-line than South Carolina in practice...or have you forgotten that A&M returns four starters including a player who could possibly be the #1 draft pick in 2015.
Not sure why you think returning 4 guys along the line is bold worthy. Pretty sure LsU and Auburn both return 4, along with UsC. A.J. Cann is a projected 1st rounder and Brandon shell could work his way into a high pick as well. We return 113 starts, tied for most in the sec w/ Auburn.

week 1 won't really show that. You're going to have to wait for the LSU game like the rest of us
