And btw, anyone who "can't believe" LSU fired Les is a fricking idiot & should never pretend to know a damn thing about football. You trashed LSU every chance you got, now you turn around with this "can't believe" bullshite? Get the frick out of here.

No, it's perfectly reasonable to laugh at you for firing Les Miles to hire your D-Line coach.

And fwiw, not sure if you noticed, but the players wanted O to get the job

They enjoy the pre-game thuggery and telling the HC that they're gonna play when it's against all common sense. Inmates running the asylum.

That's your guy. Congrats and prayers sent.

Firing Les & promoting O are 2 very different things. The first had to be done. The second was idiotic & very poorly handled. However, the game had passed Les by, and I feel certain that O will at least not be any worse than Les. Les' performance was getting worse by the year.

I still can't believe they fired this guy.

His teams were tough as hell and those guys would run through a wall for him.

Ed fricking Ogeron, really?

Letting him dangle in the wind last season and firing him 4 games into this season was not the correct way to go about replacing the most accomplished coach in school history.

bullshite. You do what you think is best for the team and the program. Period. Miles should have been fired at the end of last year. So it's somehow worse because they kept him on instead and gave him a chance to follow through on his word to change his stubborn offensive philosophy and fired him mid season when he didn't? That's asinine.

And I lol at all these holier than thou comments from fans of opposing teams that act like it's a travesty Miles was fired on account of they got some good entertainment value from his quarkiness and eccentricities.

I don't think people were quite so surprised or upset that you fired Les Miles. The issue is that you fired Miles just to replace him with a guy who was a laughing stock a couple years ago.

Do you think everybody would have been on board for firing Les if they knew what he'd be replaced with?
