Homeless encampment in West Campus

This is what Austin is becoming.

It is embarrassing for all Texans.

It's a major city with a homeless problem like all major cities. Secondly, if you actually read the story, UTa groups are trying like hell to get them out of there without much help from the city. Thirdly, it's not even close to being as embarrassing as the aggie male cheerleaders and the overall gayness, the forfeiting of bowl games to the likes of Wake Forest, or having a dipshit hot head mouthy bitch of a coach like Jimbo. 8&4, 1939.

Most large cities have a homeless problem. Not many cities have an active cult posing as an institute of higher learning.

Austin is a really nice city overall, and I just sold my house for 175% what I bought it for two years ago.

I love Austin.

Boy did you find a sucker. Housing market is going to crash in the next year or so. Good job!

My brother just did the same thing. He lived in Austin back in the late 80's and early 90's. His wife is a 'sip. Moved to DFW because of work. Moved back three years ago. It was not what it used to be. His wife got sick of her job quickly and they could not get back out fast enough. Fortunately, they bought and sold their home at the right time. They are headed back to DFW the end of the month.

The City of Austin let the homeless problem get out of hand. Even passed ordinances to encourage it. They have tried to reign it back in, but so far it has been too little, too late. tu had been rather immune to the problem but it is starting to spread their direction and no one wants to make the hard decisions to get it under control.

Austin could be comprised totally of homeless people who are violent and a danger to the community ( and most homeless are not) and it would still be a better place to live than College Station.

At least in College Station you wouldn't have to put up with a million Pelosi lovers like you would in Austin.

'Nuff said.

I've encouraged my kids to wait a year or so before buying right now. So many people are in over their heads with a house purchase and the market will correct itself soon. It will be a great time to buy supplemental real estate in the next year or so if you can afford it.

And move it where? College Station? Might actually be a good idea as the politicians in Texas are as crazy as the Aggies. It would be a good fit.

Austin is like Miami. Fun to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there. Too many scumbags.

Austin is one of the top destination cities in the United States, superior to College Station by every quantifiable measurement, just as UT is superior to A&M in every quantifiable measurement.

You would have to put up with a group cult of homoerotic crazies instead

Are you lashing out after getting knocked out in the regional? Most of your post has nothing to do with the subject of the thread. I think you need to take a break.

Austin the city is a shithole. Piss streets. The suburbs and Lake Travis are controlled by Aggies. Never seen a horn flag on Lake Travis

College Station is the armpit of Texas. Ugly, ugly, ugly! I’d take Austin anyday.
