It would take monster years to put either in the 1st.

Lawrence starting at NT by midseason would sorta be like payne starting at NT at bama last half the season. Right?

Plenty people. Hell almost everybody wanted D White at LB instead of RB.

Those guys are physically weak. They got carved up last year. Why are you trying to compare this front 7 to Alabama's. You are a gosh damn retard.

The tide's top four backups at DL and LB (total of eight players) going into the '16 season had a COMBINED total of 40 tackles last year.

Stuff legends and all americans are made of.

You forgot ragaland, lee and devall. I know you're a bama fan but, the front seven also includes the LBs.

I only bring this up because I had one of your oh so smart bama fans lecture me on how a two deep on "O" and "D" consisted of 24 players. He posted that number multiple times so I know it wasn't a one time simple mistake.

Alabama defenders aren't gonna have the number of tackles you will be impressed with because

A. Alabama gets so many three and outs, and turnovers they don't get the opportunity to make 100 tackles each

B. They rotate so many players they get fewer stats than a team with no depth like LSU

C. Everyone on the front 7 makes plays so stats are spread more evenly than a team who has one good player in its front 7

Sorry breaux, but Bama is going to be the best front 7 again.

if you are being serious I admire your optimism. if you are trolling so be it.

the reality is our front 7 has some new faces and two will likely be true freshmen. while they are talented they are still young and not as mature as upper classmen. also, LSU has a new DC and he will change the scheme of the defense. this involves a learning curve.

I will say the LSU's front 7 has a lot of potential and very well could end up in the top quartile of the SEC. esp with the secondary abandoning steele's zone cluster frick.

Half of the front 7 is solid, the other half is make-shift. 1 MLB is a True Freshmen, and the two outside LB's are former DEs.

Yeah DEs in a 4-3. OLBs in a 3-4.

From what Aranda used as Wisconsin, it looks like we'll be in a 1-gap 3-4 base but I would imagine we'll see a lot of 2-4-5 looks.

Take it easy on that Purple Drank!

I support the P&G but that is a mighty bold offseason statement. Not sure I am buying the Godchaux and Neal as first rounders at this point...
