The worst time of the year for some is upon us

A&M, Arky, Tennessee in particular.
Football season is coming and for the above mentioned programs, that means an abrupt end to the grandeur illusions that their program will be relevent or accomplish something.
Soak these last few weeks up. Relish in the hope that stealing a coach will mean getting a win on the field. Tell yourself how those two SEC wins will translate build you into a contender. Remind yourself that 1998 wasn't that long ago and it could happen again. In a few weeks, the harsh reality of where you are in the college football food chain will set in.
But February is just around the corner for those who like to look at the glass half full. Keep your chins up

nope. theyll beat state, auburn, scar and maybe uf and om. i doubt they win all the aforementioned games.
not a bad season, but 5-3 tops in the sec.
theyll get shutout by bama and maybe arky. steele thinks hes gonna blitz a lot until lsu starts getting chewed up on underneath routs over the middle of the field and gashed for 20 yard+ runs.

Who's seen even close to Bama's level of success other than LSU in the last 10 years? We're solidly the second best program in the SEC over the last 10-15 years, but enjoy going 7-5 again with your shite head coach that couldn't even win in the C-USA

lsu fans should be very familiar with this as well- given last season.
remember how anthony jennings was gonna be the MAN after he made the play at the end of the game to win the game against the hogs the season before. yep, that worked out great!
