CANDIDATES:

The dominance of Auburn and that Muschamp defense, shutting down a very good Louisville team; Auburn talked up as possibly the best team in the country, especially after OSU barely escapes Blacksburg.

Nick Chubb and Leonard Fournette vaulting their way to the top of the Heisman list with 160yd+ performances.

The downfall of the SEC with only one loss coming between A&M, Auburn, Bama or even Vanderbilt to WKU.

I'm excited to see what our team is like in October/November, but there is a very real chance that Petrino gets us in a revenge game. There's no way he's not still ticked about what happened with the Gus hiring

Story lines:

No matter the outcome:

1. Overall SEC QB play being poor
2. TAMU and AU defenses (good or bad)

Will dominate the headlines I assume.

Maybe, but Louisville wasn't good last year either and they simply lack the dogs to make this a good fight (regardless of who their coach is). I don't see Auburn being threatened in this match up, unless JJ just falls to pieces or something.

Brandon Harris throws 3 Int's in the first half and Jennings is named the starter for the State game. Finna Eat!

Notre Dame will barely beat Texas at home and ESPN will commence the "Notre Dame magical run to the Playoff" and Skip Bayless will run his mouth about how much better they are than everyone else.

So I take it you fear Harris?

The entirety of next Monday-Wesnesday will be dominated by Spurrier. Unless Bama drops the Wisky game, in which case it will be about Saban and whether or not this is his last year. Bank on it.

God that would be the worse start of the season

Bama plays all their QB's and struggles with Wisky. Pulls it off 10-9 holding Wisky to 3 FG's.

After A&M blows out ASU the swamp kittens will be saying:

"They started off hot last year too and a lot of good it did them."

"The Pac 12 is overrated."

"A&M may have the best WR group in the country, but I'd still rather have ours."

"Wait til conference play, then we will see 3rd and Chavis."

"Myles Garrett won't be able to do that against LSU's offensive line."

"Brandon Harris only had 300 less passing yards than Kyle Allen. Harris is clearly more talented."

"I don't know why the NFL Draft experts said the entire interior of ASU's line is going to play in the league. NFL guys wouldn't let Daylon Mack abuse them like that."

"Todd Graham's defense is really overrated."

If the VOLS win big, I would expect for a couple of our posters to go hard.

Hey, I'll be giving A&M props if they beat a good ASU team.

But yeah -- 3rd and Chavis.

aTm losing to ASU in a nail biter after ASU marches down the field in a last minute drive for the winning field goal.
