Happened right in front of us.Strange situation. Its apparently "Whister,Jr" although this guy has to be 60 or so. Supposedly the "main whistler" is some guy named Preacher something or another. This isn't 'Preacher.'
It was in the reserved section between home plate and the home dugout.A rather small woman with a pink visor (you can't make this up)comes walking up the steps to the concourse and turns towards the visiting section. Whistler Jr come charging up behind her and grabs an usher who proceeds to grab a Hoover policeman and the chase is on.
They add another policeman and they start calling out to the woman. One officer grabs his mic and motions for another one to stop her. They question her for several minutes and then come back and motion for Whistler Jr. Guy sheepishly comes up and they go down and talk a while.
Curious fellow that I am then asks the usher about the incident. Basically a he said,she said. Woman claims Whistler Jr stomped on her foot after she asked him to pipe down and she then shoves him.Whistler Jr claims woman with pink visor hit him and he didn't retaliate.
Whistler Jr is beyond lame for yelling "assault" like he did. If these two have any sense they'll drop it.
