Exactly. The hit certainly wasn't necessary, but if the QB is going to wonder aimlessly after an int while the play is still alive, a lot of defenders are going to go for the hit because they can and it is within the rules. It's on the QB to protect himself from the so called cheap shot.

Yes. There were 2 seconds left in the game when Marcus Randall let the ball fly. UK student section had already swarmed the field and were standing on the sidelines waiting to celebrate the win. When the ball was thrown the UK students swarmed the opposite end goal post without watching the conclusion of the play. They actually TORE DOWN the goalpost at that end before they realized that they had just lost at the other end.
The Kentucky call of the final play is pure gold.
In fact when Devery Henderson scored he had to avoid a few Kentucky fans that had run into the endzone that he scored in. It will forever remain one of the most unbelievable plays and sequence of events that I have ever witnessed.
