Been following OU since '99 and Mayfield is the most elusive we've had compared to Hybl, Jones, Heupel, Bradford, White, Bomar, Thompson, all of those dudes were statues. Knight went Joe Montana on Bama in NOLA but he severely regressed in 2014 thus why he's the backup.
Your signature win was against LSU (no disrespect), who lost to an Arkansas team (no disrespect) that lost to effin Toledo. A mediocre Texas Tech team shredded Arkansas, who got shredded by OU. The Texas loss stings, but it is what it is. No need to downplay our victories.

If Michigan State is #3 after the way they won the Michigan game, the fix is in. If Iowa wins, I could see it happening.

OU lost championship games to LSU in NOLA, Florida in Miami, and I believe to USC in Cali.
It would be nice for OU to play close to home for once.
