How they proudly display their camo wallet while they pull their W.I.C card out and try to buy Marlboro Reds with it.

The self righteous holier than thou attitude of Auburn fans. Apparently they have never cheated or paid a player in their history. I guess Eric Ramsey was a figment of our imagination.

I find the lack of genetic diversity in Alabama appalling. Women are ugly too.

The fanbase, and not for the reasons that are always trotted out. My freshman year was in 2009, and my like-aged friends who went to Bama and who only started cheering for the Tide the same year are the most prideful, dislikeable fans. Having never experienced something coming close to a mediocre or bad season, they have no experience of loss to galvanize their fandom into something more even-tempered and worthwhile. Instead, they walk around all season with a silver spoon in their mouth, having the joy of one of the most commanding dynasties of the modern era wasted on a bunch of young bloods who have never known it wasn't always like this.

To older Bama fans, I'm happy for them. They get what a tremendous time this has been to be a fan. But to my contemporaries? frick their football trustfund baby attitudes.

Bammers are also a classic case of a fan base that can dish it out but can't take any criticism. Their scout site actually created a smack board a few years ago, but it was only for bammers to talk smack to rival fans. Any rival fan that attempted to talk smack about bammer on this board was instantly banned

This thing they have where they tell you ALL the people in their stadium went to Auburn. I've never heard such a ridiculous, idiotic belief in my life. I can tell you about oh a hundred people I know that didnt ever step foot in that place. That's just me. I'm sure there's thousands more.

Bama's belief in Auburn was said best by Gay Telese, the author. It's where the degenerates, the white trash went. Bama was the aristocrats of Alabama society, Auburn was the sons and daughters and the wretched.

Thing I hate most is how many good kids from north metro ATL are forced to Auburn, and what happens to them when they get there. A tragic story of bitterness and scorn.

I was always a fan of his CW article about how badly the aristocracy of Alabama's premiere university wanted to thump the trashy degenerates down at the pitiful landgrant university, insinuating that Bama paid players with cars and suits to do so.

Who cares what any bammer believes? I am pretty sure most of the rest of the world views bammer as the bigger trash fan base since you are universally known for killing people and committing other acts of insanity over a football game

Their attempt to achieve UNC-level academics by pretending to have UNC-level academics. Possibly a brilliant plan, but it's annoying as frick when UGA always slides their name into the top tier state universities

this is reality. Auburn fans are really pompous and are arrogant for no reason what so ever. they love the fact that Bama has a few crazies in the fanbase. it allows them to point the attention away from their idiots.

I love interacting with LSU fans. they are fun and for the most part they don't give a shite.

you know you can sway any report in one way or another, right?

that being said, I am not an engineer(the better engineering schools are near the top of that graph - spurred up by oil and gas no doubt - watch it drop the next few years), yet I am in my early 30s and I make well over double what the figure is represented for Alabama. been doing much better than that chart implies for many years.

sorry all of your kid's teachers went to Bama. Their average salary? maybe $40k a year. sways that number down (Blame the state of Alabama for shitty teacher salaries, not the U of Alabama)

poll just our doctors / lawyers / business / communication grads and we would be more in line with the top half.

idiot.

It is also funny how bammers try to convince themselves that Auburn fans are the only people who have a negative view of them.

I remember a question on this board a few years ago back when I was just a lurker asking the LSU fans on this site that lived in the state of Alabama which fan base was worse to live around on a daily basis between Auburn and Alabama. Every or virtually every LSU fan that answered the question said bammers were far worse to live around
