14% win percentage

Losing record to 6 out of 7 schools.

Worst endowment and academics.

Sad, sad, sad.

I know you're still hopped up from the circle jerk y'all held two days ago in honor of Texas Independence Day, but try to tone it down a notch here.

As far as the Universities from Mississippi I would say that having three fairly major schools (Yes, I know Southern Miss sucks right now in football) in a small state dilutes the overall academics and the ability to field a good team.

There is no great shortage of athletic talent in the state. There is not a great shortage of intellectual talent in the state. But it tends to spread between the big 3 schools in a small state.

Yes, time out for Ole Miss and MSU faithful to froth at the mouth over me adding Southern Miss to the equation... but they do pull their share of students and their share of athletes. State and Ole Miss are both decent schools with decent sports programs. With the SEC money starting to really flow I expect both schools will trend upward in the next few decades.

Congrats on being the only state to go 0-2 against Landmass last season

Splitting talent 3 ways in a state with less than 3 million people will do it to ya
