the fact they state auburn would be the bottom of the big 6. I wouldn't have thought that. Would you have?

Sure, depending on the measure. Auburn isn't presently in the bottom of the big 6, nor are we at the bottom in what I would consider modern years.

For our respective lifetimes, Auburn, LSU and UGA should likely all be bunched pretty close together. Especially for those three programs, all of which are what, probably 7-15 in all time prestige, I don't think it makes much difference.

we doubled that number.

So when we say this is the hardest time in history to be a Tennessee fan, you know it's the truth.

What program would you rather have. A team that has three undefeated seasons since 93', three SECC since 04, two appearances in the NC Game in the last 5 years, one BCSNC , or a blah, fricking blah, blah, blah...

LSU.

I think you spelled Bama wrong.

Alabama is, as expected, the overall best. Their average finish of 3.24 is pretty impressive.

Are all six teams from the West then? Because we are the Big One in the East.

The only way to recreate the bumbling idiocy of Curley would be to splice Dooley, Mason, Joker, Dooley's mom, Nutt, and John L. Smith together.
Oh believe me, all the LSU Fans/Alums that don't have their heads completely buried in the sand have seen plenty of "Bumbling Idiocy" out of Les Miles.

We've been patient since "21-0." There's been a steady decline since that game.

This season marks the end of patience. The pitchforks will come out and there will be a "March to the Castle" if the Tigers lose 4-5 again with incompetent and "Bumbling Idiocy" QB play leading the way........

Are you old enough to remember UGA winning a natty in football? It feels pretty damn good.

So.. you didn't see any winning football until almost your 6th decade on this planet. And here I thought the last 7 seasons were tough.

Les is 103-29 at LSU. Never had a losing or .500 season, been in a bowl every season, 3 trips to Atlanta, 2 SEC championships, 2 appearances in the BCS title game, 1 title.

Curley was 16-28, never had a winning season or bowl team here, coached the team to the worst season in school history (2-9) and worst loss in school history (58-3). Cupcakes were beating LSU in Tiger Stadium during his tenure.
When LSU led Auburn 23-9 in the 4th quarter, he kept calling passes, and our QB threw at least 5 ints in that quarter, 3 for TDs as we lost.

Losing a big game to Alabama is frustrating, sure; but don't even begin to compare Miles to Hallman. That's full retard.

I really haven't heard "Big 6" mentioned outside of this board.

Back when Georgia Tech and Tulane were still part of the 12 I remember hearing "The Six" not "Big Six"

Always the Best Six?

They're the only six teams (barring Kentucky that one time) to claim SEC titles in the last fifty years.

That was back in the 70's with Fran.

Big 6 + UK

Well yeah. Did you see the stats they wrote? It is no secret to any Auburn fan that the past 5 years sum up what our history has been like. Either balls to the wall or fall on our faces.

We understand that...but you also have had some pretty lights out years....and, MOST georgia fans understand we have been very frustrated National Championship wise. In short, we think we would be at th bottom of the Big 6....yet firmly in it.

I am. I'm not old enough to remember UGA finishing 0-8 in the conference, though.
