Considering the Peach is one of the NY six. And the semi final next year, you might want to rethink that

One of the downsides of recruiting diva high 4* and 5* guys is the lack of effort they bring to irrelevant bowl games. I am always nervous when our bowl game means nothing. History has shown we show poorly in such situations. Last year was another example. Like the A&M game we should have won, but found a way to loose. Looking forward to this season.

There is another solution:

Don't watch SEC media days.

Seriously. To say the two teams from Mississippi that played in two of the first "big six" games weren't motivated is the biggest load of crap.

Actually, we won that one. With a bad defensive showing. They just refused to call a touchdown a touchdown.

I know. I know. All LSU does is blame the refs and cry foul.

LSU, along with others, have done nothing but throw shite at ND for years..

You get your chance and you get your arse kicked

Not that we weren't motivated, we were just too injured. Add that to the fact that it was the Big 12 #1 vs SEC #5, it becomes a problem. I know everyone has injuries, we just didn't have to depth to take them.

I was really looking forward to having a winning record against ND too. At least I could brag about something the team did from last year.

This is true, the SEC bowl tie-ins and big bowls aren't usually fair on paper, there was still no excuse for that play calling and performance by Bo Wallace.

I will accept that. Its just hard listening to these coaches talk about how great the SEC west is after we failed so miserably.

Meh. Upsets happen.

Losing to Notre Dame in football isn't the end of the world. After all everyone knew LSU had major issues with their offense towards the end of the season.

No. The football loss wasn't what shook the SEC to its foundations. Y'all lost to Notre Dame in a hot wings eating contest.

Just... damn. How could you lose that?

I don't think we were cheated or the better team, or anything like that... and I'd rather have that ring.

THAT said, losing by 7 to the eventual national champs that won the two games sandwiching us 52-0 and 42-20? I have hard time pulling out the ol' wrist knife over that one.

Just like we did on defense in the secondary. My hope was that OSU's defense wouldn't be able to stop us enough for us to win; I didn't have any illusions we were going to stop their offense all that much.

By the way I was right the SEC had the most bowl wins with 7. I love how some of yall will just say whatever to back up your point regardless of fact. Did you even try to look it up to prove me wrong or just hoped that I wouldn't ha.

It was a bad bowl season no doubt. I know LSU did their part to shite the bed...but then again Chavis was largely responsible for that loss.

The most embarrassing loss, and it wasn't even close, was Ole Miss getting absolutely destroyed. That was highly embarrassing for the SEC
