Anybody who, at the conclusion of 2011, wants to talk about the last 10 years of college football, would talk about 2002 through 2011. If they wanted to talk about the '10s, they'd talk about 2010 through 2011. If they wanted to talk about the '00s, they'd talk about 2000 through 2009.

You pick a decade then a year out of that decade to discuss. There is a reason increments of 10, starting with zero, are commonly used, as described in the dictionary, because it's easier for common usage which makes it the vast majority preference of decade discussions.

02'-11' is a decade and we all agree and haven't disagreed on that but the common and preferred usage start with zero for a reason.

He has used that "decade" 02'-11' multiple times to flame Arkansas. Using common preference of decades

00'-09' - Arkansas > Mizzou
90'-99' - Arkansas > Mizzou
80'-89'- Arkansas > Mizzou
70'-79' - Arkansas > Mizzou
60-69' - Arkansas > Mizzou

Whatever. Your stupidity is getting tiring. Trust me, when I say LSU is going to kick Arkansas' arse for the next decade, I am not saying we're going to wait until 2020 to do it.

I just sit back and enjoy the fact that the mere mention of Mizzou in the same breath as Arkansas raises his blood pressure to dangerous levels.

Its quite entertaining.

Why does Texas A&M makes sense over Mizzou when Mizzou is closer to all SEC campuses? Which makes them geographically closer.

A&M has a connection to the following schools:

LSU - historic rivalry (50 games played)
Arkansas - 68 games played
Bama - multiple coaches: Bear Bryant, Fran, Stallings
State - Jackie Sherrill

Missouri has no connection to any current SEC member, save Arkansas (a school they've played only 5 times). In fact, the only SEC school they've played more than 5 times is Ole Miss who they've played a whopping 6 times in 100 years.

The geographical distance is meaningless. When you throw out Arkansas (wouldn't that be awesome!), College Station is more or less the same distance from other SEC schools as Columbia is. Texans are rich as shite and sit on a shitpot of oil so they can afford to travel.

You Hog fans should just be happy to finally have a rival who gives a shite that you exist and is a mere 223 miles away.

The Aggies and LSU already hate each other and we'll settle quite nicely back into a heated rivalry while continuing to not give a shite that Arkansas exists. I'm sure the Aggies already don't acknowledge your existence so that will probably be the only thing the Aggies agree with us on.

That because in the still of the night he knows that even since his magical 2008 Missouri still trumps Arkansas in winning percentage

Wrong!

Columbia is closer to SEC than Texas A&M even without Arkansas.
Use google.

Mizzou is closer to Ole Miss, MSU, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Kentucky, Alabama and almost the entire rest SEC East.

What, lol

It's 311 miles.

I seriously hope the vast majority of this board never works with numbers in real life. There will be some fantastic grammar and spelling champions though.

The hypocrisy in Sunhog accusing others of spinning numbers is absolutely hysterical.

I hope it never ends...

What number did I spin?

It's real simple, y'all love to jump on the Arkansas hate bandwagon and we just won't go away.

Right, except for this thread was Arkansas hating on Mizzou thread...right?

You're good for a laugh.

You're underlying fear of Mizzou has been noted and passed on through the proper channels.

You will not go away and you have not produced a better winning percentage than Missouri in the last half decade

Hey SunHog,

What if I found a post of yours where YOU said the distance from Columbia to Fayetteville was 223 miles?

Who did those numbers? Was there some kind of highway available from Columbia, that isn't from Tuscaloosa? Space/time continuum going on? It's over 600 miles between Columbia, Missouri and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Not the 490 miles that is listed.

You confuse fear with business sense. Why hasn't Kentucky been successful in the East which could be a mirror image of your program: Geography, money, exposure, and recruiting base?

I like Mizzou in the SEC it helps Arkansas cut costs, generate more revenue from another close fan base and exposure into Missouri recruiting while hurting your recruiting in Texas by losing the Texas A&M game.

I'm all of that.

Distance isn't the only metric that matters.

And thanks for completely ignoring the other points I made as to A&M's connections to 4 current SEC West members.

I'm not arguing against Mizzou being in the conference. What's done is done. The OP was ridiculous. Instead of finding any common ground, you seek only to flame anyone and everyone because you're hypersensitive about your Hogs.

If we could all fly to every single game direct his numbers would be accurate.

This might be the best example of an off-season thread EVER!
