Who the heck wants to see Arkansas ? This would be like Waffle House telling a truck stop what a dinky restaurant they have.

Sunny only in Arkansas math does three years equate to a decade

Who said that?

Decade is a category of a 10 year period you idiot.

This decade is the 10's, for example we are currently in and before that was 00's and so forth. No one uses your scale of 02'-11' is a decade,

Stop hurting yourself.

You posted 02'-11' as a decade. That is not COMMON use of a decade.

No one said that.

We are currently on the 10's decade and Arkansas presently above MIssouri and way ahead of Penn State.

LoL you contradicted yourself completely by posting the definition of a decade.

02'-11' is not a decade which you've said over 4 times on this board. You are wrong the dictionary says you are wrong and so do I.

Again, we are currently in the 10's of this decade and presently Arkansas is WAY ahead of Penn State regardless that is early into this decade.

Stop picking out any 10 year period that fits your agenda. Use the common system as the dictionary states with ZERO.

Find me articles that commonly use 02'-11', 03'-12', 04'-13' as a decade compared to articles that use 00'-09', 10'-19', 20'-29' lets just see what the vast majority prefers to use?

As the dictionary said, thanks for the post, end in ZERO to start the decade which is easily countable.

If I say "In the last decade I did x, y and z " it means from today ten years back

Completly difference than me sayin' "In the decade of the 90's I got more asss than a toilet seat"

SunHog, any ten year period can be referred to as a decade. 1945 to 1955 is a decade that was spans from the 40s to the 50s.

It's pretty obvious I know that.

1945-1955 is used because of significant events, WW2 ending and GI Bill for example.

When talking about sports decades we use 20'-29' when talking about the 1920's football teams.

What decade did the Arkansas team play in from 02'-11' considering what's over a span of 2 decades associated with the dictionary. That team can't be in the 00's and 10's decades so what the hell is that decade called?
