I can't be mad. When VT was scheduled they were a top 10 team and PSU and Michigan were good teams.

I do think something should be done with scheduling games so far in advance. It's too hard to know if a team will remain dominant when scheduled 10 years in advance. Cal/Miami/VT were all scheduled while good, but were pretty lackluster by the time we played them in our OOC games.

This is all Alabama's fault. Damn you, gumps.

You're actually right, and we apologize. I don't think there had been a Big Ten fan on this board in its history until we lost that game. Suddenly, by squeaking out a win vs one of Saban's lesser teams, OSU is BACK! Now they can cruise through their butter schedule and hope the SEC beats itself up enough to not make the playoffs.

Also, OSU's schedule is shitty. There's that.

Nebraska is a junior member of a second-rate conference, and will not even challenge for their division.

Nebraska fan is reduced to posting pictures of another team in its conference on an SEC board.

Dr. Tom is rolling in his grave.

They no longer can fake their way into the back door of a national title game.

You mean like 2-loss LSU in 2007?

I know, what a joke, right?

How could they just HAND the title to a 2-loss team...

Another swing and another miss

OSU's schedule was shitty before this week, but really the SEC coaches have talked a lot this week about it. OSU's schedule sucked back in January

PSU and Michigan were good teams.

this is the biggest problem with the Big 10. The other two historically successful programs have been a shell of themselves the past 10+ years. Penn St let Joe Pa stay too long and then the whole molestation stuff happened. Michigan made a couple underwhelming hires that set them back. Adding Nebraska would have been great 15 years ago but now not so much. The Big 10 has several great all-time programs but only one of them has maintained success this century. Until those programs get their shite together, Ohio St is going to get shite for their weak schedules through no fault of their own. They proved last year they, at least, could compete with anyone.

What I find funny about nebraskafaninwi is that he talks about the past glory of Nebraska while simultaneously dickriding Ohio State.

Sad.

And he knows it.

But how does that change the fact that OSU has a butter soft schedule? What does it matter when anybody started talking about?

Anyway, I don't know why any Buckeye fan spends one minute trying to defend it. It's not really controllable on your end and if you don't slip up you'll waltz right into the playoff. Then you'll have the chance to shut everyone up.

Urban is the best coach in the country. OSU is probably the best team in the country. You play in a weak conference, thus you have a weak schedule. This is all reality.

Actually Arky was the first team in the conference to allow Ohio state to beat their chests.

Funny I was talking to a Bama fan at work yesterday and there was an Ohio State fan standing nearby within earshot.

I asked (already knowing) who Bama was playing this weekend and he said MTSU...

I said what; MTSU's defense is almost as soft as an Ohio State football schedule....

She bitched for 5 full minutes about the B1G wimp teams while we laughed our asses off..
