The SEC is campaigning now to get a potential 2 loss team into the playoffs. link?

It's obvious what they are doing. Why would 4 coaches jump on OSU's schedule THIS WEEK if they weren't trying to defend themselves later? no one said a word last week

You just cant, or refuse, to see through the words to the intent

Must have some tough games coming up since coaches are talking to the media about how great Ohio State has things with their power house program that will repeat as national champs compared to their all so tough schedule because media people think Miss. State is actually a ranked team.....same with TN.

Continue on melting since Ohio State will repeat as national champs!!

I mean, Bret must be very stressed with his game this weekend since his mind is on Ohio State, which is 1-5 against in his career.

Bert's still upset with Urban. Can't blame him after being forced from the beer and cheese state(two things he clearly enjoys).

And I'm not saying the SEC will have a 2 loss champ, but they are fighting the battle now for later. Should a 2 loss SEC champ get in over a 1 loss Pac 12 team if ND, TCU and OSU are undefeated?

let's just play that scenario

Of course that is what they are doing. They no longer can fake their way into the back door of a national title game. Now they have to play it on the field against other conference champs and it scares them.

First year of the playoff no SEC team made it to the title game and there may be no SEC team in the playoff at all this year.

OSU undefeated.

Baylor or TCU will run the table.

USCw will win the Pac 12.

GA Tech or FSU or Clemson will win the ACC.

Bret didn't learn how to beat Ohio State like Barry A. did.

Without Barry as Wisconsin's head coach, Wisconsin is no longer a threat to Ohio State.

Ohio St is probably the best team in the country right now and could hang with anyone in the SEC, clearly; however, their schedule is a joke, and that is pretty undeniable. The rest of the Big10 is just really average.

The only upside to all the Ohio State dick riding is that it'll turn Bama into America's hero in a potential rematch for the title. So, that'd be pretty fun I guess.

If I was a OSU season ticket holder I'd be pissed off about that garbage schedule.

If they get in with 1 loss that would not be a surprise. Have a great team. Schedule is definitely favorable... only a handful of good teams to play. Get into the playoff and beat 2 teams and they earned the NC. Not so sure why this is that big of a deal.

Now tOSU losing 2 games and getting into the playoffs with that schedule?? THAT would be melt worthy. Sounds like you don't really understand football and how the playoffs work.

Hope this helps.

It's amazing how all of these Ohio State fans aren't bright enough to grasp that. It's not an attack on them but rather pointing out what everyone else knows already about the rest of their conference.

I kinda agree. SEC fans spend way too much time hating OSU when they're a great team.

They have an easy schedule, but they're still a great team. The argument that they'd lose a game if they came to the SEC is retarded. They'd probably drop a game or two if they were thrown into this year just because they aren't acclimated to the grind every week that SEC teams are. Give them two or three years to figure it out, and they'd compete for the conference every year.
