It is going to be a fun week of Basketball in Columbia. Probably the most important one in some time.

Excited to see how Alabama finishes. Really would love to make the NCAA but I don't expect it this season. Very impressed with Avery and this team tho.

LSU isn't going 4-4 the final 8 games.
Split USC/A&M
Wins vs Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida and Missouri.
Lose vs Kentucky.
6-2 final 8 to finish 14-4.

I can't speak for all of us, but I knew we were steadily improving under Martin so I expected a 9-9 or 10-8 conference record and 2-3 non-conf losses. So something like 20-11, borderline NCAA tourney team but more likely a high NIT seed.
Nothing like this at all.

We expected to be better ... we did not expect all the freshmen to contribute the way they have.
IMHO the way all the freshmen have contributed is what has made the big difference in this team.
We've got some solid upperclassmen, plus the freshmen have been a pleasant surprise.
Also, moving Carrera to the outside, to the two and three, was a great move and he has made the most of it.
