He has lost the fire. Its been an impressive run no doubt but he is 65 years old, time to concentrate on that Mercedes dealership and the ole golf swing.

They either win it all next season and enter dynasty mode.. or they will have won 1 championship in the last 5 years

Crazy really. Big season in 17

I think I've heard this before. Oh right, every year for like 7 years. Do LSU fans ever get tired of being wrong?

Dude, you're a bit late. They've won one National Title in four seasons.... after winning 3 out of 4 during the previous 4-year stretch. The high water mark was reached with the beat-down of Notre Dame and its been slipping ever since.

2009- National Title
2010- x
2011- National Title
2012- National Title
2013- x
2014- x
2015- National Title
2016- x

Impressive still. But the high-water mark was reached back in 2012. Had they not recovered an onside kick and run a kickoff return back for a TD last season, we'd be enjoying four consecutive seasons of no bama national titles.

What a brilliant strategy from LSU fans:
Claim moral victory
Pile on Bama after the loss
Turn Bama into an even more motivated machine with a massive chip on its shoulder
Ignore the fact Bama has superior coaching than LSU
Ignore the fact Bama has superior players than LSU

Keep telling yourself Bama isn't a dynasty.

this is desperate and sad. Not every thought should be expressed on matter how happy you are that Bama lost. it doesnt mean anything except that Clemson was better

So be it if that's the case, 3-5ish more years maybe. One or two more national titles, throw in some sec championships. It's been a great run, he won't pull a Bowden and stick around while it crumbles

All you can really hope for is to be in the hunt for a title. Either in the POs or one crazy game loss out of it (2013). We've done that every year since 08' except 2010. Its the greatest 8 year run in modern history. Saban is nowhere near done.

I'll give you those other things, but this is simply not true.
