He was there for the start of the year because he is a team player. WE needed him there with suspensions. He has been playing well since he started playing well since he has been playing full time on offense.

You don't have to tell a Bama fan this. We had Brandon Gibson.

you guys are as bad as us LSU fans with your unrealistic expectations of 18 year old boys "next pp7, next hb7, next dorsey, next trindon"

He is 4 inches shorter but he is nowhere near 40 lbs lighter

It's not about size though

Well obviously but don't compare him to AJ then! If they aren't similar at all

Black was ~170 pounds coming out of highschool. Unless he's roided out and can train hard in the gym through a 3-4 months shoulder injury that kept him off the field.. you can't expect me to believe he's pushing much more than 180 pounds.. which puts him at ~25-30 pounds lighter.

We know Mitchell well, and if he was at BAMA, Chris and Coop would still be better because he'd be playing his true position, DB

It's hard not to make comparisons with all of the talent being recruited to both schools nowadays.

I mean I know secondary is bama's weak link this year, but yall's WRs have never exactly put the fear into a defense. MM would be your best WR.

I know you're a bama fan, but it IS ok to actually acknowledge that other teams have better players than you at some positions.

We had an 18 year old boy break your heart on a screen pass to win in Tiger Stadium. Amari Cooper is the leading receiver on the #2 team in the nation as one of those "boys". Looks like our 18 year old boys are really 18 year old men.

actually, a ~20-21 year old craig loston broke our hearts with an extraordinary whiff on a routine tackle.

Point is this, at the end of Spring before the Summer Chris had locked up a starting spot over the guys we have now, his absence opened the door for Amari Cooper

I'll also say this, without the injuries Bama has suffered this yr early on and Spring this Bama team was a totally different animal, one that LSU or UGA couldn't get within 3 TDs of, if we had Black all yr and hadn't lost Jalston Fowler
