The reason OM fans are confident this week

Freeze has had our program going in the right direction since he took over. Every year has been progressively moving forward. He has recruited at a high level. His first dynamite class are in their last year in Oxford.
We feel like we have lots of experienced playmakers on defense. Nkemdichie is disruptive inside and we have some dynamic pass rushers and finally some depth to match up with anyone up front. We feel like our DB's are a real strength of the team. 2 4 year starters at Saftey, a 3 year late first round pick at Husky and 2 corners we feel great about. Our line backing core is a question but with the talent surrounding them we feel they are serviceable.
The real reason for confidence is the offense. Bo Wallace was a program changing QB for us. He bridged the gap from Nutt to the talent Freeze has brought in. We are 6 or 7 deep at WR that we feel great about. We feel the O line is as good as it has been under Freeze and we finally feel like we have the QB that can really make the offense go. Bo had a notiable problem with arm strength. He literally couldn't throw the deep ball. Kelly throws it extremely well along with making great decisions. We feel that we can finally take the top off the defense and get the Safteys out of the box to run the ball effectively enough to keep Kelly on his feet.
It's amazing how fast he has picked up the playbook. To us he is a QB with all the tools from a QB family that is the perfect guy for the system. Some of the throws he has made the last 2 weeks blew my mind.
We feel we finally have a dominate defense and an explosive offense. Yes it has been against scrubs but it's scary how many questions we answered about our team the last 2 weeks.
Here's to a great game Saturday and Hotty Toddy.

Ole Miss hasnt won a road game of this magnitude in the lifetime of any regular poster here.
I'll believe it when I see it.

You guys are trending upward and nobody can deny that. Freeze is a good coach and perfect for your program.
The issue is competition level so far then facing Bama. I'd feel more confident that you guys could win if you had faced an SEC caliber team first, even Arkansas would have been helpful. Just going from UTM and Fresno to one of the best teams in the conference is quite a jump.
All that being said. If you guys can start fast and get the crowd out of it...force some turnovers...you might pull it out.
Good luck

Someone is very sensitive. Tissue?

Good, inside view from someone closely following their team, followed by a bunch of outsiders trying to be cute. Hopefully some Bama people come along who'll find your post interesting. Personally, I'd find an Auburn post like this interesting, so up vote from me. ;-)

At least you admit that the skull crushing we gave you last year in Aggieland in front of that record breaking Texas football crowd was a non-event for Ole Miss fans.

When we make typos, the errorists win.

Beating a top-20 team on the road is not of the same magnitude as beating the #2 team on the road.
I bet you thought you were gonna get away with that little slight. Dumbass.

We beat #1 Florida in the swamp in 2008. I'm older than 7

NCAA going in dry. ole Miss is exactly the type of school the NCAA makes an example out of. UNC, Miami, Penn State, SMU, Ole Miss.

Ole Miss was 2-2 headed into that game and had just lost to Vanderbilt. It was a great but insignificant win for them as they were not in the division race.

Well give a detailed specification then if you're gonna be so bold

I got quite the laugh out of that one.

We not only beat a #1 Florida who won the national championship that year, but it was eternally enshrined on their campus. Now shut the frick up while you're behind.

I actually thought his sad comeback was more humorous than my initial post.
