I hate to admit it, but when i looked at this matchup objectively, i already knew it would be a close game. So something has to tip the scales, and when a game is close i would have to pick the least penalized team in the sec vs the most penalized team in the ncaa.

If rict could cut down on mistakes he has more then a good chance. Unfortunetly those penalties will amount to field position and that is another key componet.

Did you know that the most penalized teams in the SEC the last 2 years were Florida and LSU?

Just saying.

Both of these teams lost games, so this might be one.

Not that I think it is.

Man, stop the Hype

We're talking about a team that struggled with S. Carolina. If South Carolina would have held on to the ball at the endzone Georgia wouldn't be where they're at now.

Georgia has practically played nobody.

I seriously think Georgia is going down.

I hate to admit it, but I have a gut feeling that the gumps are going to win this game. I don't want them to, but I think they will.

And LSU probably wouldnt be the first to get a crystall ball with two losses; if, LSU wasn't number 2 in the nation in number of penalties last year.

It would not surprise me for Bama to beat Georgia, for I am not that impressed with Georgia in a lot of different ways..Their lines are not that outstanding, not that Bama's is...but I think that match up pretty evenly...and I am not overly impressed with Bama either...they will not win the sec much less nat'lship....but let them think what they want to....THE ROAD TO THE NAT'L SHIP GOES THROUGH BATON ROUGE....

Its amazing everyone judges UGA on this game alone.. and after that game everyone was ready to say ASU will take it to UGA.
So what? we actually beat UGA last year and they still beat 'Bama in Tuscaloosa.

He was referencing Coach Pat Dye, who said that about UA a few years ago when they played UGA. Or the other way around, hell, I can't remember.
