In all honesty...the National Championship game is really the only one that matters. As it stands, the SEC is undefeated and accounts for about 1/2 of the titles in the BCS era.
The SEC can't win em all and if someone else takes the title away from an sec team, sure there'll be excuses (there are in the rant every week), but it will more than likely be because the better team won.
There's a reason that no other conference has done what the SEC has done in the BCS era, and I feel pretty confident it is because the upper echelon of the SEC is the best in the country. We may not always be the best from top to bottom, but the elite of the elite is always better (for the past 5 years) than that of any other conference. Thus, it has been proved on the NC field.

I agree with this. People forget VT came out flat and trailed 17-0 at one point. Once they got their shite together they outscored Boise 30-16. They were one first down away from sealing the deal and the Smurfs would be an afterthought at this point in time.
