I don't know if the whole problem was Les, but the lack of offensive production year after year had to go back to the head coach.

This. Alleva probably needs to go but Les was 100% done.

Do I trust Alleva to make the right higher? Absolutely not, but whats the alternative?

Fire Joe yesterday instead of Les, hire a new competent AD over the season, let new AD fire Les at the end of the season and hire the replacement.

You know, like any program with a lick of sense would have done.

From my limited perspective, most of the problems at LSU seem to be related to Miles. I love Les as a person/human being but frankly he didn't seem to be a very smart coach. A good example was the final play vs Auburn. There was a review going which gave him plenty of time to prepare for the final play with just 1 second left on the clock. The focus should have been on having the Center snap the ball as soon as possible. Instead they fricked around and did not snap the ball immediately and time inevitably ran out before the play could be initiated. This is just plain poor coaching and a lack of presence of mind relative to the immediate circumstances. We have seen seen poor clock management by Les in the past and I would guess that the powers that be at LSU simply said enough is enough.

Any pictures of Les carrying out his box of personal items available yet from cleaning out his office?

Top 10 recruiting classes for last 15 years. Former LSu players excelling all over the NFL. What do we have to show from that 1 National title and 2 sec titles.

What if LSU made Les? Was he a coaching prodigy at OSU?
