No, I am the type of fan that most Ole Miss fans hate. Tennessee fired Dooley after just 3 years. USC fired Lane Kiffin after just 3 years (not even). Auburn fired Gene Chizik one year after he won a national championship.
And all are better off for it.
It does not take 5 years to evaluate a coach. This is not 1965; it is 2014.
Ole Miss fans are WAY too "nice" to their head coaches, which is why the program has been so mediocre for so long.

You know what they are. I hope to God all the accusations were false and I have no evidence that they were true, but when a coach goes from having the Midas touch in recruiting (last year) to not being able to close a single recruit or win a single significant recruiting battle over several months down the stretch (this year), it makes any reasonable person wonder.

If you think Hugh Freeze is doing as poor a job as Dooley and Kiffin did then there's nothing we can say that will change your mind.
If you don't want to continue to be harassed I suggest going resigning from the rant and head on over to the cup where everybody is gloom and doom.

Yep. We kept Coach O and Nutt around a really long time, and how dare we give Freeze more than 2 seasons to go undefeated.

We got Robert because of Denzel. We got Treadwell because of Standifer. We got Conner because of south panola. We got everyone else because we had the #1 player in the fricking nation recruiting for us.

If you really want me to, I can provide a list of about 30-40 that he missed on, many of which we were leading with at one time or another.
And after missing on all the 4- and 5-star guys, he proceeded to miss on all the 3-star guys that might have replaced them (Sawyers, Alexander, McKenzie, etc.)
We only got Sims because Alabama and Auburn both passed on him.

Dude, if you cannot win any recruiting battles except for players you have "natural tie-ins" with, then you are not a great recruiter and you are not going to succed as a coach in the Southeastern Conference.
