If the playoff gets passed, what is everyone going to say when a team with 2 to 3 losses gets in the championship game and wins?

All other sports decide championships this way, why is college football the exception- left to be skewed by personal opinions of the likes of Finebaum?

I hope they don't turn NCAA football into what the NFL is for me.

I don't give 2 shits about the NFL until the wildcard games are in the 4th quarter. I like the D1 system, but the bowls and polls are bullshite. The bowls and BCS are money hungry mongrels that lead to a lot of dirty business.

The team with 0 or 1 loss should have done better, and wtg 3 loss team?

Very unlikely that this scenario will happen unless the BCS goes to a 8 team playoff system with automatic bids given to the 6 BCS conferences. There has never been a 3-loss BCS team that has finished top 8 in the BCS standings.

Should there be a process implicated where the colleges would have vote the head of the ncaa in? or maybe ncaa having to divide with another "non profit organization" so they would have a more checks and balanced system?

wont bother me a bit. with the way CFB schedules work out, the idea that 1 loss makes you absolutely better than another team is straight up retarded.

put another way if the Okla St. kicker puts his kick vs Iowa St. 3 feet to the left is Okla st. better than Bama?

CFB post season is gay as shite

The problem I've always had with a playoff in any sport is the best team doesn't always end up being the champion. I don't believe the Mavs were the best team in the NBA last season, but they were hot at the right time, which is stupid. Alabama was the best team in the FBS this season, so the BCS worked. Hell, the Saints are the best team in the NFL right now, imo, but the 9ers were hot the other night and now the best team can't win the championship.

Why do 2 or 3 losses matter? Winning your division and conference don't even matter right now.

Fact is, if you're going to let a team like Bama into the NC (they earned their win, but shouldn't have been there still), then you can't complain about number of losses.

I pulled for LSU the first time it happened. I'd pull for them again.

My question is, what are they gonna do when sec vs sec becomes fairly common in the championship game because we generally have more than 1 team in the top 4 quite often. And we all know that if there are sec teams on each side of, the bracket, the chances of them meeting in the middle is higher than the alternative.

All you can do is win the NC under the then current rules. That team will be no less legit a champ as the wild card / Super Bowl champ Packers of last year or the wild card / World Series champ Cardinals.
