There's no use in discussing this right now. All will be settled in Tuscaloosa.

There is a discussion and it's what are the committee members looking at?

But not in the Iron Bowl. If Bama beats MSU in Tuscaloosa, Auburn''s loss will no longer be to "the number 1 team." If Bama loses, this whole argument becomes moot.

Obviously, if Auburn beats OM, their argument...well, doesn't change much, since OM already has a loss now. If Auburn loses, well, again, the argument becomes moot.

I genuinely believe having the committee will erase any bias towards Bama. Rice may prefer them, but there are others who may be opposite. We'll just have to see.

If they're looking at scheduling, I don't see how they could be ahead right now. Our losses towards MSU and Miss are quite equal...our loss being a little better. Our OOC win is better too although WVU looks pretty good as well.

This is the season of overreaction. A&M beats an over rated USC and becomes the best team in the country. The same went with UGA in their win over Clemson. Auburn manhandles LSU at home, then we're the best team. Bama beats a terrible UT team and now they're the best 1 loss. LSU squeaks one out against Ole Miss and now they're the team to beat.

Auburn will have at least 2 more losses, I wouldn't sweat it.

Bama can too. It's just the reality of the SEC West this year. We could lose to UM, UGA, and Bama. Hell, the A&M game may be close.

Totally agree. The ONLY reason Bama is ranked ahead in the polls right now is because Bama's loss came first.

I'd say it does make somewhat of a difference. This is the committee saying "this is who we would put in right now", so if they put in Bama instead of Aub at this snapshot in time, I think we all would have some shite to worry about.

As fans, we can look forward on the schedule, but the players cannot. We'll be ready. We'll have to show Bama how it's done in Vaught Hemingway.

Any word on College Gameday yet next weekend?

Just more proof Barners are obsessed with Alabama. I told you weeks ago you would not win the West because of your schedule. You will not win out with all those road games.

But instead of worrying about this weeks MUST win in Oxford, they worry about where Bama is ranked. Win out and I think you get in. You play Alabama so that would take care of itself.

Good luck in Oxford, we need you to win, so we can beat the hell out of you at our place and win the West.

Oh look, another aubie crying about something. You failed to mention how soft your D is or you had to cheat to beat USCe last night.

Why do people care this early? Auburn and bama will be settled in the field. No team in the sec with less than 2 losses should worry if they win out.

Because AU fans are the most insecure in the country. They continually compare themselves to big brother and that is their entire self esteem. I couldn't care less where Bama is ranked right now since I know the SOS is so good that if they win they are in.
