Why was the headline an issue?

Finding a way

What's wrong with that?

The issue is the giant picture of Treadwell breaking his foot that was printed underneath it.

Yeah, the finding a way to win, with the photo of the injury rather than the fumble recovery, td score, clock expiring etc... Was the poor choice.

Not a great choice, but it didn't seem malicious. Nothing for people to be up in arms about. They didn't caption it "Lucky Break" or something directly related to the injury.

I agree. This is blown out of proportion when ESPN <--- (not a local newspaper) keeps showing video of it. Why does a picture in a small ... Wait for it..., NEEWWWWSPAPER! Have so many rantards upset when you see it everywhere already?

It's a means of belittling whatever they can. I've said multiple times to family and friends that I'd rather him had made the TD and with 1:30 and multiple TOs let the chips fall where they lay. But holy jeebuzzz are some of you opposing fans complete trolls. I get it, it does make this place interesting to a certain extent but when you PRETEND to be outraged over something you aren't really outraged about.... Gheeeeey

Is this really that huge of a deal? Arent there other things more important to be worried about? Where are the threads on how Treadwell's surgery went?

In the grand scheme of things, yeah, but -

This was a response thread of sorts to the massive levels of stupid emanating from both sides of the original thread regarding the paper.

Not surprised consider the editor of the paper is a Bama alum.

Funny...I thought that the prevailing Auburn narrative was that Bama alums were incapable of rising to such supervisory positions.

You're coach could have shown some class and said " I hope the Ole Miss kid is alright, I hate to see someone get an injury like that. " Instead he said " I knew he fumbled" Never once showing concern about the opponent. Classless act.
