I don't really consider division titles in the same stratosphere as SEC or National Titles, so I look at Ole Miss and State pretty much as the same in the "titles category".

Fair enough. I can't really disagree.

Yea, everyone except Florida and really Georgia has had some ugly patches. Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, Auburn all had some dark 4-6 year periods over the last 25 years.

True. I think LSU's was probably the worst of those, with 8 losing seasons in 11 years, but Tennessee has come pretty close. They seem to be coming out of it a little, but so did we in 1995-1997, only to fall back into it in '98-'99.

Texas A&M has only one Big 12 title in their school history.

The same number as Baylor and TCU.

They have 3 Big 12 titles in their alternate reality.

When do you start your search for a HC?

When our current one starts losing.

When is your HC going achieve a winning overall record?

Especially considering that both times Mizzou won the SEC East they were beaten by SC and finished below them in the polls.

2014 Mizzou: Won Sec East, finished #14 and beat South Carolina who finished the year unranked.

Sad little lie

This will be his first season as the HC at LSU ... Maybe we should see what shakes out....
We all know what your HC is about...
I would start that search now....
But just my opinion!

Beating your HC as a 14 point underdog on the road?

Umm I would think Mississippi State's trip to Atlanta would trump the insignificant win differences with OM. Would also rank them above any other SEC team who hasn't made it to Atlanta.

Neither Baylor nor TCU won a Big 12 title in the championship game era (1996-2010)

If you're including the last 25 years (1992-2016) you have to add the 1992 and 1993 Southwest Conference Titles to A&M's resume.

19-8 (.704) and the only Coach to go to 2 SEC Championship Game appearances in his first 2 seasons.

Alabama's on the field record since 1992 is 238-84-1 (a winning percentage of .738).

Just FYI.

OP fix this ranking.

It should be IN ORDER of

Natty
Sec title
Sec champ game appearances
Etc.

Auburn is above Tennessee in every metric that counts.

No one cares about overall bowl win% and crap like that.

It's trophies.
