Actually we had 5 Reg Season games left. Blowout road wins over Auburn and State, the Bama win, and then 2 blowout home wins over Sam Houston and Mizzou. Then of course we blew out OU. We didn't even trail in any of the 6 games after LSU.

A&M can talk shite about LSU when they do 2 things
1. Actually beat LSU
2. Win something of relevance

LSU doesn't care about a meaningless bowl game. We let the lower level programs get all giddy about that stuff. Championships or bust. SEC Championship or National Championship. Yay for all those that won a losers bowl game. You were better that day than the other loser you played. Woohoo.

If you Aggie fans really dont beleive that the only reason yall beat Bama, was because they battled the frick out of themselves with LSU{yes theirs as long as ours, biggest game of year} you are seriously delusional...I am a pretty big gambler..I will give any gamblers a lil tip...Bet against the winner of LSU vs. Bama, unless they have a bye the next week and you are 10-0 last 12 years...FACT..Same works in other conferences big dogs face each other... its just human nature to have major letdown....Peace

The only reason LSU lost to Bama was because of BYE. BYE played LSU so tough that LSU was tired and lost at home to Bama who lost at home to A&M.

Losing a game and then having 5 straight wins, 3 of which were against teams that had losing records does not equate to "playing as well, or better, than any team in the nation at year's end."

Hey I am not even bashing A&M, I actually like you guys, but I am middle aged and watch a loooooot of football for gambling purposes, I have never seen Bama so disinterested to starta game ever, yes A&M had to perform to make it happen, and kudos for doing it, take my previos post for what it worth, but it is pretty factual, Now this year looking @ schedule, if you beat them or us...No excuses, and you can really be proud of your program..just my 2 cents

Bama had a little advantage because they had a mini scrimmage the week before beating State 38-7. Was just enough to keep them active but not tired. LSU had a little disadvantage from the rust of the BYE week.
