The Wizard of Oz is going to collect royalties from this thread with all of the straw men that have been set up.

Anyone with any common sense knew that after all the luck had last year that it would come back and bite that wartigereagle arse and they have already taken one curb stomping at UGA and they have another one coming in the iron bowl.

Pucker up war damn eagle you're fixing to get pounded again.

No kidding, the huge majority of AU people predicted at least one loss, most picked 2+.

You'd figure thuga fans would quit riding that Bama dick, since they actually won the game. But nooooo. Congrats on winning a meaningless game.

Sure are a lot of "rational" fans in November

Maybe honesty isn't a year around thing.
This conference has a unique way of humbling the masses about this time of the year.

Lawd I LOVE the SEC!

They're all people with a handful of posts too, suddenly so confident now that the results are out there.

Wish I could dredge up the old offseason prediction thread on the Auburn board. This is dead on - most predicted dropping a couple games, with as good a shot to win the SEC as anyone. Hubris, right?

meaningless game.

- Takes AU out of contention for the west.
- Keeps UGA in contention for the east.
- Removes AU's chances at NC by winning out.

You guys have been bitching 34-7 since the game. Yup, looks meaningless to me.

Not overly excited on this one but you guys are the worlds worst at pulling "its only a game" when you lose.

I don't see where they're really that far off from where they were last year, minus the luck.

And Georgia is where it is every year, pre season front runner followed by disappointment and despair. Sucks to be y'all, never winning anything...congrats on beating Auburn, the only bright spot in an otherwise mediocre season.

Tell that to all the Auburn fans who were proclaiming their team as world beaters in the offseason. Must hurt to fall down back to Earth.

Not as much as it hurts to be so inconsequential to the world that a football rivalry is your whole life.

Larry. Would your last name happen to be Updike?
