Media picks are always a crapshoot, however given the last 8 seasons in the SEC, you'd be an absolute idiot not to pick Alabama.

Please remember this is the same group that last year picked AU to win the west, and picked Alabama to win the SEC.

That's not even a possibility. So at least they picked a team to win both the division and championship this year.

Can you at least not embarrass the rest of our fanbase putting this thread here?

I would be willing to bet LSU finishes 3rd in the west. You will lose to Alabama, and either Ole Miss or Arkansas.
LSU is mediocre, and has been for a while now.

Me too. fricking injuries piled up. But we saw what they were made of when everybody was healed up, they beat the living shite out of MSU in Orlando and damn near killed a couple of their QBs in that game.

It's almost like the people that are picking haven't been watching college football the past 5 years or so right?

Bama has proven that they don't need to return 18 starters to win. LSU has shown that they can't hold on late in the season the past few years. This year is a big one for a lot of reasons but it's the biggest for Miles' future. He may never have a situation like this again and I'm not so sure that 10-2 is good enough this year.

Youre dumb. Im as big of an LSU fan as any and I love our chances but there is 0 reason anyone should pick any team to win except Bama until someone proves otherwise.

Well, what has LSU done to prove them otherwise? Losing 5 straight doesn't necessarily give you the benefit of the doubt.

No, picking South Carolina to win it all is a joke. Not picking Bama to win it would be the joke.

Unless you get 5 or 6 turnovers or Harris goes all Stephen Garcia on us you're probably not going to win. We have the best players coupled with the best coach in America. Playing in Tiger Stadium? Stop using that as an advantage. That phases bama zero going in there. We also go into jordan Hare and Neyland and they are every bit as loud as TS when we go. We're used to it. That stuff effects Stephen F. Austin. The best player in america? Thats Deshaun Watson, then maybe Fournette but you could make a case for mcCaffrey. You're favored in every game? Wont be the case when those games actually get here and people are actually putting money on them.

We fully expect to win the national championship as does the rest of America. Only LSU fans expect LSU to do that.

LSU is always a QB away from winning 10-12 games. Amazing that with all that talent Les can't find a good QB. If they ever had a great one, watch out.

No. That is the one thing that is never said about LSU. LSU and "returning starters" have never gone together.

They had Mett which in my opinion was a damn good college QB and still couldn't win anything.
