The LSU loss to Wisconsin was the biggest game of the season for the SEC

I've always been a believer in the "win for the conference" mentality. It is hard to put aside our dislikes of fellow conference members, but when our conference brethren lose OOC games, it causes a big ripple effect.
Forget the "it helped get rid of Miles" thoughts for the moment, too.

Had LSU won over Wisconsin, I firmly we would not be listening to all this "the Big 10 conference is so good" media hype now
One game, one day in Lambeau Field did this.
One errant pass by the QB late in the 4th. So close.

LSU was only in that game because of "errant" passes by the qb

Wisconsin kicked their arse that game. It isn't one game. It's all the other shite performances from the sec that hurt them

Nah, the B10 hype started when Ohio State embarrassed Alabama in the inaugural CFP.

Disappointing, but at least we were in the playoff. Nice troll though.

That hype in 14 went away the very next year when Bama shut out the B1G chsmpion.
It's a yearly thing, keep up.

It's not just a baseless narrative this year. There are legitimately 4 Big 10 teams better than the SEC's 2nd best team right now.

Embarrassed by losing by a TD to the eventual National champs and Top 2 coach. So what do call the Wisconsin Loss?

Not sure winning a game where your opponent throws a pass into the end zone that would have tied the game, equates to embarrassment. It's not like we were shut out 21-0 or even 10-0.

How do you quantify this? Had LSU beat Wisconsin (didn't Wisconsin kick a FG late to take the lead?), the SEC could always say,we'll we beat your B1G west champion, etc.

Totally agree that changed the whole perception of the SEC . THats the reason LSU aren't getting any respect in the rankings . And if I'm not mistaken BAMA beat the big ten champ in the semi 38-0 last year and the conference as a whole had like one bowl lose .. so yea , LSU cost the conference some shine THIS YEAR .

LSU should have hired the Ohio St OC from that game instead of YawYaw. Who was their OC?

Yea, but they were the better team. Wisconsin controlled TOP, racked up more yards, and only allowed one score by the Lsu offense. Had their own QB not thrown a pick six, LSU never even takes the lead

You'd still have Michigan, OSU and PSU up there. Alabama would be the only SEC team in contention. And the rest of us would still suck

LSU would be in the Sugar instead of us though so thanks Wisconsin

Conversely, if Anyone with a brain had been running the LSU offense that day we would have won by 30. It doesnt matter to the main stream media but every LSU loss this year shouldnt have happened except for Bama. Even though Bama was a 10 point loss Im not going to try and spin that one. (Holding). Miles lost the Wsc. Game.
