"They came at us in the same old way. And we sent them home in the same old way."

-- Duke of Wellington on the battle of Waterloo

With a bye week, I was wondering what LSU's staff had schemed to get LF in favorable sets or out in space. When I saw JD Moore on the field I turned to my buddy and said, "Holy shite, they're going to run it right at us!" I knew then, short of an offensive catastrophe on our part, the outcome was already decided. Even when LF was motioned out wide, he wasn't used. An utter failure at the top and complete waste of talent.

Three years; not so much as a division title, no invite to NYC. You tell me.

They talked and talked, said they finally were gonna get it done this year because Miles was gone and the offense would open up.

What happens? They get totally shut down and shut out and have clock management issues all game.

Say hello to the new boss, same as the old boss

Their "couple of new wrinkles" for the Bama game consisted of handing the ball off to their fullback for a couple of 1st downs. Imaginative and fresh

When they split LF out wide one time they had him matched up man to man with Ryan Anderson - and nothing...

That should have been an automatic 9 route.

If that had been us, Lane would have been signalling Touchdown! at the snap.

Mike Dubose ain't walking through that door - and even if he did as bad as he was for Bama, he still went 2-2 against LSU.

Yep.

Leading up to the game, I pointed out to several of them that their offensive output in the three games prior to Bama this year was worse than their offensive output in the same period (and against a similar level of competition) last season.

Of course, I was told I was an idiot.

It's funny how hard the Bama Beta's are taking this win. I mean a 10 point win is almost not enough to talk shite about right?

Saddest winning fan base in America...

So, you're reduced to taking solace in moral victories?

I didn't post a moral victory, just stating how sad some of you Bama Beta's are....

Pretty simple.
