I never said you would lose. It's just hilarious to see your fans falling over themselves to make excuses for a loss 6 months ago in a year you won a national championship. It's pretty clear a group of your fans are quite worried about our game next year with how much they talk about it.

And obviously none of that influences what will actually happen on the field

No. It is fans like y'all that have to frame this narrative because you can't admit to being beat in a fair and even contest. Johnny Manziel was the best player in college football. Better than anything you had on your roster. A&M also had the best offensive lineman in the country. Also better than anything you have on the roster. A&M dominated Alabama in the 4th quarter. A&M didn't win because it was a spread team. A&M won because they were better.

You do realize we averaged 4 yards a rush against your D last year, right? Did you watch the SECC and NCG games? Bama ran at will last year when they committed to the run. Four cracks from the 4 yard line, Bama would have scored and we both know that. You also realize Bama had more yards than TAMU as well, right? Again, 3 turnovers, one being a Yeldon fumble as we were moving toward the endzone and either a FG or a TD. Worst game of the year by far, and we should have won and would have with better play calling. Had more yards, scored way more over the last 3 quarters and had tons of errors and turnovers. Can't wait to play you guys in September. And I'll gladly back up my claims with a friendly ban bet with you. Bama wins, you go byebye for a month and if TAMU wins you won't see me for a month. Deal?

One freakish QB and a 1st round OL doesn't make you more talented. Bama had 2 1st round OL in this draft and another next year when Cyrus K. comes out early. Yeldon will be a 1st rounder, Cooper will be a 1st rounder, and AJ might end being a 1st rounder too. Bama is more talented on both sides of the ball, period. The best team didn't win, and that's why TAMU wasn't in the SECCG or NCG while Bama was.

Doesn't change the fact that they beat you.
