I don't know how the scouts judge. I see Connor Cook name high on the boards but I don't think he was all that great in college. NC State's Brissett is another one. Dak blew him out in their matchup but he is higher than Prescott.

Probably so, but Connor Cook blows my mind about being the 3rd or 4th best QB. He had a 56% completion rate. If can't complete 60% in college, Idk how he can do it in the NFL.

Brady was a 6th or 7th rd pick .
Brady is arguably the best QB of all-time.
I can't stand the guy but all you need is a shot.

Dak is a poor man's Culpepper...Big physical and mobile, great deepball..struggles to get to 3rd and 4th reads consistently.

Yeah I don't get the hype about him. Plus he is a douche bag.

I think it just speaks to the weakness of this Years qb class, not necessarily to the strengths of Cook.

Better coaching?

The NFL has plenty of misses, but they do seem to have a knack for grabbing underrated college QBs -- either because the QB in question played for a mediocre Power 5 team or because he played for a lower-level team in weaker conferences or FCS -- and making them good pro QBs. The big name college QBs that are on the front pages every week who fall into the category of actual can't-miss prospects are fairly rare, all things considered. A large percentage of the time, the NFL looks at the measurables in conjunction with the potential rather than the actual success on the field in college. If it works, it works, right?

Honestly not sure there's a QB worth a 1st round pick in this draft. This draft looks like all linemen.
