He's also a .500 corch right now. Ray Goff and Jim Donnan could recruit as well...and they weren't as ridiculous as Butch Band Geek Jones.

Mock him all you want, but there's never been a better coach in history to be 0-3 vs. Dooley and Muschamp. He is also the greatest 12-13 coach in SEC history.

He's .500 coach at UT. Not in his career.
And of course he's a .500 coach at UT- his job the first year was simply to take out the garbage. He came in and demolished a football program that couldn't be renovated and had to build the thing back up from scratch.
We had no buisness winning 3 games in 2013 much less 5. The program was dead.
Two years later here we are one of the most talented (but way too young to compete for playoff spot right now) teams in the country.
Fans around here don't seem to want to give Butch his due when it comes to this rebuild he had to take on. UT is a huge athletic program and he had the balls to gut the thing (the football program) and the confidence in himself to get it done in a year.

Western Kentucky's talent was comparable to ours and UK could have gotten us if Peterman were playing and not Dobbs.

If you'll remember many people around the country were picking Western kentucky to beat us. That was before their 6 turnovers in one quarter came along.
And Peterman could have lost to anyone in the country. Luckily Dobbs had a big run and won it. (UK)

I'm as biased as it gets but only expecting 3 wins in 2013 is a bit ridiculous. Anyone who follows UT closely and objectively was hoping for 6-6 his first year and 7 wins last year. He fricked up the Vandy game in year one and aborted last years UF game. He starts being judged for real this year.

I think you're forgetting how bad that team was talent wise.
We were lucky to get 5 wins that year. We had bottom of the barrel Pac 12 type talent on that team.
It doesn't really matter at this point. I think we're all happy about where we are as a program right now.

Just fwiw we were favorites in both of those games. 15 point favorites over WKU.
Saying we had no business winning games we were favored in seems like a stretch to me.
