This man has to be the corniest man in the coaching profession today. Not saying he won't have success at Tennessee, he is just one of those over-the-top guys that you probably like to have on your side, but see as a bit of a clown from the outside.

Players eat that shite up. As long as it translates to wins, he can be as over the top as he wants.

Yeah I think a lot of them probably do. I just remember Jones bobbing and weaving while arm-in-arm with players before the Missouri game and thinking that if Pinkel ever did something like that it would be quite odd.

I get the feeling it's intentional and he knows that it looks odd. It's part of his charisma. Pinkel just doesn't have the personality type to make that work.
