I've been to one our away games in Oxford. Hung out in the grove. Very lame.
Can Ole Miss fans explain what about it is special.

It's just a bunch of poor people acting rich under a few trees. There's nothing interesting about the grove.

We already know... everything about Ole Miss sucks and the grove is overrated. It's an opinion thread started at least twice every offseason.
Fwiw I have a great time in the grove, and plenty others do as well. Sounds like a personal problem to me if you don't.

The Grove is nice. I've had a lot of fun there. Half of my family are Rebs, but they're all assh*les.

If everyone thought like you did, then we wouldn't constantly be ranked in the top 5-10 tailgating spots.

While poor may not be the best adjective to use I guarentee half the crowd carries 6 figure cc debt they have no ability of paying back.

I've been to the grove 3 times now. It's fun, I'm not saying it sucks or anything, but it is unbelievably overrated. It is without question not the tailgating oasis it's made out to be. Back in the day (before corporations took it over, RIP) the quad at bama was what the grove wishes it was.
