You do realize they use radio's to call the bullpen don't you? Not phones.

Aggies, living the heads of LSU fans for over 75 years.

can't read twitter for the life of me....

is the Zach kid (source) an A&M fan that played @ Eastern Oklahoma?

sounds like he's trying to say it was done in a game from '15?

If it's not real.. it's not funny.

I worked for a pro team and had the numbers to pretty much every locker room in the AL/MLB. College roomie got a hold of my list and just went to town calling the high profile guys. He pranked a lot of random public figures.. was surprised how far you can take it if you are good. Then after the Mexican media guy/Brady jersey scandal maybe we shouldn't be surprised.

This has to be fake. All they had to do was rewind the DVR and call the dude in the next room and pretend like he was a coach.

I'm skeptical as well. I'd be very surprised if bullpen phones actually had telephone numbers. I'm pretty sure they're just a direct line.

Still funny though.

So, Minter was the Friday starter that year. He wouldn't be relieving a midweek game against SFA. Also, it was Simonds that went to the bullpen (and the box score shows he pitched that game).

Either it's completely fake, or, they actually got through and the bullpen didn't do what they requested.

assuming he was trying to say it was '15 you are correct.. Minter never relieved a game in '15.

Not to mention wouldn't the guy in the bullpen be like "well you're calling me from the dugout, so shouldnt you be the one to tell "Minter" to come out to the bullpen to move around?".

Did he just hang up and then call the same phone that he thought someone just called him from to say to get the pitcher out there?

I'm guessing it's a real call that was accepted and it either evolved into someone changing it to Simonds getting ready after they were asked about Minter.. or the call to get Simonds ready was already in the works.

It's funny, but it would have been classic if Minter actually ran in & threw in the pen..
