I plainly said I'm not counting the one from 1992 because it wasn't the BCS back then. So from 1998-present. I know we haven't won the game yet, that's why I said "we have a shot".

With the favorable treatment Bama gets both on and off the field, they should always be the odds on favorite to win. The fact that the SEC is now looked at, rightly so, as the cream of the crop means that the Birmingham base will always give their boys benefit of the doubt.

The Coach's Trophy has been given out since 1986. Any team that won the Coach's poll after that year has one. So Bama already has 3.
