Yea people think you just automatically double team him, but that takes a man out of the box to stop the run. Then we'll just run it on you. That's the great thing about being able to throw the ball on any down, not just 3rd and long or obvious passing situations, which LSU fans might not understand with their QBs. If a team wants to stop the run on 1st down or 2nd and short and gives us a favorable coverage look against Coop, we'll throw it to him.

This makes me feel a little better about our chances. Hopefully Chavis brings the pressure like he did against Ole Miss.

Your backs are infinitely better of course.

Arkansas blew us up with their front 4. However, that was Bradley Bozeman at center and a banged up Arie at guard. It was basically a continuation of the 2nd half of the Ole Miss game after Kelly went out.

We are better up front now than we were then. Not great, but better. Even without Cam.

you will soften the box for run with Sim rolling out and hitting Cooper. The interplay between Sim run pass option, time for Cooper to get more open, and Yeldon run is going to be the struggle. Our D-line has to be ready.

Don't get me wrong, our offensive line was about as bad as I've seen it be in a long time that day, and that was certainly disappointing against a team like Arkansas. However in fairness, we were missing our center that day and while he's not our best offensive lineman (we'll be missing him against LSU), Kelly is certainly our most important.

Our OL pass blocks better than Ole Miss (hopefully still true without Cam Rob), and Sims is mobile.

I am more concerned about the way our pass defense likes to give up about two to three inexplicable big plays a game. In a defensive struggle, that plus our placekicking woes is a real obstacle.

The most frustrating thing this season is that OJ Howard could really be destroying people but he has just been a total flop. Drops balls, can't really block (we already knew that), seems to cut off routes. Just a massive dissapointment.

Exactly. Two things nobody is really discussing but the game could easily come down to 2 or 3 plays in these departments, and whether or not we give up the big play by leaving somebody wide open or not, and whether or not we hit a FG or two.

Yeah I didn't realize your OL was banged up for those games. Plus OM's line isn't special outside of Tunsil.

We've improved on D a lot as well, now that Beckwith is getting the reps at MLB. Kwon has been all over the field too.

It will be a good matchup to watch.

Your QB's passing ability is below average.

Yeah, so I said we should be able to complete a few throws.

Don't get butthurt.

Well...Arkansas fans would probably disagree.

If Arky's offense and kicking game had delivered, they beat bammer going away.

Bama Defense- will they stop the LSU run, because if you give up 3 yards a play don't expect to see anything else

If State hadn't beat the shite out of you, you wouldn't have had the shite beaten out of you.

Well we do have the best run defense in the conference so I guess we'll see. I like our chances.

Yep. I think the key is going to be how we run block. Cam being out hurts more than in that than pass protection as Kiffin does a good job moving Blake around, and Blake is just hard to rush. If we can't run and end up in 3rd and longs we are in trouble (see 2nd half OM and Arkansas).

I fully expect to force LSU to throw the football. I will be shocked if we get punched in the mouth the way Ole Miss was. We dominated Arkansas' run game, so I anticipate we will have success against LSU's.

Jennings will have chances down the field, though. That is what the game will come down to.

Arkansas held Bama to 14 points and should have won the game.
