I know it's a sterotype, but if I had these people calling a national radio show as representatives of my fanbase I would be pissed.

Nice article. While I agree the obsession is on another level for Bama fans as a whole, I think it's not really fair to make that observation by riding around the two towns. Baton Rouge is a far larger city and therefore is gonna have a lot more people that don't give a shite about football at all.

Your team won on Nov.5th but it's you delusional LSU fans that can't admit the best team didn't win that night, "If you watched the same game that I did". Bama was a better team than LSU but sometimes the best team doesn't always win. You look at Nov.5th , "If you add those 5 field goals Bama missed" Bama's score would be the exact same as on 1/9. Bama wins both of those games even if Bama only made 1 out of the 5 field goals on 11/5 Bama wins in regular time and the game doesn't even make to overtime.......1 out of 5, "Think about that" ! How many teams miss 5 field goals, Better yet "In two games against the same opponent"?

I agree Bama was the better team. But, let's be fair, those were some long arse field goals. After two or three misses we should've been going for it on fourth down.

If they had been the " Better Team", then they would have outscored LSU. % missed field goals. Where was Saban?

I know of one, and you should have recruited a better kicker, you realize special teams is part of the game and counts right.

He is the one that kept making the decision to try the field goals when it was obvious after the first 2 that your kicker didn't have the sack to pull it off.

Well I guess the most important thing is Bama made them on 1/9, "Huh"! But I guess you will come back with JJ had a bad game, our coaching staff was not prepared or Les should have atleast put in Lee.

My entire point. How many Bama kickers could not make 1 out 5 on a given game or night ? Do the math, Hell the guys in the desert would take that bet "ANY" day.

Well JJ did suck but that was no big surprise.

We were not the best team on 1/9 that is why we lost. See how easy that is.

Don't act like Bama is the only team to miss crucial field goals though. Ask Bobby Bowden about it it happens quite often.

21-0 in the BCSNC vs. 9-6 in OT and Bama missed five field goals. Thanks again you proved my point.

Saying "if you add those 5 missed field goals, the score would of been the same as the score from 1/9" might me one of the most retarded fricking things I've heard on here. There's no way you could know that. No way the same scenario would of played out. Let's say Bama makes the first missed FG, ok then who's to say LSU wouldn't of returned the kickoff return for a TD? Or who's to say Mo doesn't fumble that kickoff return and Bama scoops up the fumble with great field position or even scores a TD after a scoop and score? "well shite paw, add dem missed fgs and that's 21, derpa derp"

So losing a game by a FG means it really shouldn't be a win now?
